Happy Memorial Day Weekend Viperfish Families!

We are underway for the 2026 summer swim season! I will be serving as your Team Rep again. My family has been with Viperfish for 6 years. I have two kiddos, Mara (11) and Owen (9) competing.

You will get a weekly email from me each Sunday reminding you of the schedule and sign-ups. You will also receive an email leading up to a meet with all pertinent information as well. Feel free to email me with questions, but please read through each email completely beforehand. I really try to answer as much as possible through weekly updates.

I want to share a few reminders as we look ahead at our schedule for the next few weeks..

Time Trials

• Sign-up is open as of 10am Thursday.
• Here are instructions on how to sign-up: Viperfish Swimtopia instructions
• Registration will CLOSE on WEDNESDAY at 5pm.
• NO on deck registration.
• We strongly encourage ALL swimmers to attend time trials.
• If you are not able to attend please still go in and declare “not attending this meet”. This goes for all meets so that we know for sure who is and isn’t attending. Otherwise you will continue to get reminder emails from me.

Mini-Viperfish

• Mini-Viperfish will not start practice until June 15th. Practices will be Monday, Tuesday, & Friday 9-9:40am.

Practice Reminders

• Water temperatures will be lower than normal at the beginning of the season, so please have your swimmers dress accordingly to stay warm and be prepared for colder water temperature.
• Swimmers are required to bring goggles and be "ready to swim" at the start of the practice time.
• Swimmers with long hair must tie it back or use a swim cap.
• Practices are not considered swim lessons.
• Swimmers will work on stroke refinement, technique, speed, and other skills required during practices in order to compete in swim meets.
• Expect the first few weeks to be a bit chaotic - it's normal!

Regular Practices (School Not in Session)

Mornings - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday (No Practice on Thursday Mornings)

• 11 & Up 07:30 AM - 08:30 AM
• 10 & Under 08:40 AM - 09:40 AM
• Mini-Viperfish 09:00 AM - 09:30 AM (Monday, Tuesday and Friday ONLY)

Official Team Suits

All swimmers are required to wear the official team suit during meets. Team suits are not included in this registration. Team suits must be purchased in time to wear at the first meet. Time Trials they are not required.

• All swimmers new to the team must purchase a team suit.
• Where to Buy: Purchase your suit at our SwimOutlet Team Store.
• Sizing: Please refer to the sizing chart and select the correct size. Do not size up, as a proper competitive fit is required.
• Compliance: Swimmers who do not have the correct suit or are wearing an improper size may be unable to participate in meets.
  • For modesty or religious suit requirements, there are team shirts available through Swim Outlet. These are the only acceptable shirts. Cotton shirts create a safety hazard.
• Refunds: Please note that team suits are non-refundable.

Returning Swimmers

• Swimmers may wear team suits from the previous season.
• Important: The red and white marble suit has been officially retired and is no longer permitted at meets.
